Advantages
First, LED fluorescent lamps do not use mercury and do not contain lead. Traditional fluorescent lamps contain a lot of mercury vapor. Once such lamps are broken, the mercury vapor will evaporate into the atmosphere, thereby polluting the environment. LED fluorescent lamps can protect the environment very well and are recognized as one of the green light sources.
Second, LED fluorescent lamps are cold light sources and do not emit a lot of heat energy like traditional lamps. It can basically convert all electrical energy into light energy, without causing energy waste, and is very economical.
Third, LED fluorescent lamps are very quiet energy-saving lamps. They do not make noise like traditional fluorescent lamps. They are very suitable for quiet environments, such as libraries and offices. They can also protect the eyes very well, start very quickly, and do not flicker, which is very good for our health.
In addition, because LED fluorescent lamps are green and environmentally friendly lamps, they do not produce ultraviolet light, infrared light and other radiation, do not contain harmful substances such as mercury, and generate less heat, which can well avoid mosquitoes around the light source, thus creating a relatively clean environment indoors.
Finally, LED fluorescent lamps have a long service life. Their power consumption is less than one-third of that of traditional fluorescent lamps, but their brightness is the same as that of traditional fluorescent lamps. Generally speaking, the normal service life is more than 30,000 hours. Long-term use does not require replacement, which invisibly reduces labor costs and is very suitable for occasions where it is inconvenient to replace lamps. Of course, LED fluorescent tubes are very colorful and can be made into lamps with various luminous colors to meet the needs of different occasions.
Disadvantages
The only disadvantage of LED fluorescent lamps is their high price. However, although the current price of LED fluorescent lamps is about ten times that of fluorescent lamps, it is still cost-effective if it is related to its service life, power saving and pollution-free. Because compared with a fluorescent lamp with a service life of 5,000 hours, an LED fluorescent lamp with a service life of 50,000 hours is already worth spending 10 times the price to buy, and the electricity saved in the meantime is completely pure profit.
