Should We Choose Integrated Or Split Solar Street Lights

Split type solar street lights are common ordinary street lights composed of solar photovoltaic panels, batteries, LED lamp heads, controllers, and lamp posts, and must be equipped with lamp posts or cement electric poles. The batteries are buried underground or can be fixed to the solar panels using lithium batteries and connected to the electrical wires inside the lamp posts.
The integrated solar street light integrates the battery, LED lamp head, controller, and solar panel into the lamp head, making the style more concise. Integrated solar street lights typically have an integrated control system that enables centralized remote monitoring and management, making it very convenient for managing large-scale street lights.
In terms of installation, solar integrated lights are more convenient. It can be said that they can be installed by tightening screws, while split solar street lights require assembly, wiring, installation of battery brackets, lamp heads, etc., which are relatively more complex.
In terms of price, due to design reasons, the power and battery capacity of solar panels in integrated solar street lamps are generally smaller than those in traditional street lamps, resulting in lower costs. Therefore, under the same specifications, integrated solar street lamps are cheaper than traditional street lamps.
Similarly, the larger the area of the same solar panel, the higher its photoelectric conversion efficiency, and the capacity of the battery is proportional to its volume. Therefore, for integrated street lamps, the volume is limited, and both the area of the solar panel and the volume of the battery will be limited. Therefore, it is not suitable for places with high lighting requirements.
Solar split street lights have a wider range of applications and can be used on large roads and highways with high requirements for lighting, as well as in squares, residential areas, industrial parks, etc; Integrated solar street lights are more commonly used on urban roads, streets, residential areas, factories, industrial parks, and rural roads.
